A SMALL STEP FOR BARCELONA, A GIANT LEAP FOR FOOTBALL.
Oh yea after a massive week of football, it is Chelsea's exit at the hands of Barcelona that has emerged as the main story, after all the gamesmanship from their manager, playing on a potato field, sending his team late out for kick-off, and trying to specifically kick Barcelona players to disrupt their flow, it is, class that has triumped over crass. That money cannot buy trophies, that the beautiful game should be played flowingly like a Barcelona, Lyon, or arsenal, and not boringly like Chelsea, or [and i dare say] liverpool.
And what does our dear Special One say?
"The better team lost"
Sour grapes.....my lad.
As so, it was delightful to see my Arsenal back to form, after a 4-0 away win at fulham, followed by holding real madrid to a draw and going through to the quarters, and then sweet delight as we beat liverpool, albeit a blunder of monumental proportions by their captain. Ironic isnt it, the best player on ur team, ends up being the one who lets them down. Well anyway, we are playing beautiful football, and if u saw the first goal, it was pure class. And also, it was such a coincidence, that, on thursday i nd not go for X country cos i cldnt afford to sweat too much, so i cld watch the massive clash at Highbury that morning, where pple say it is the "best 0-0 in recent times"
